My first performance in the Virtual World – Photo: Storyteller Denise Valentine as Sojourner Truth at SL9B Celebration!
Join Storyteller Denise Valentine as she presents her first historical performance in the Virtual World at Second Life 9th Birthday (SL9B) Celebration on Sunday, June 24th at 10am SLT (1pm EST). Sojourner Truth, African-American abolitionist and women’s rights activist, delivered her best known extemporaneous speech on gender inequalities, Ain’t I a Woman? was delivered in 1851 at the Ohio Women’s Rights Convention in Akron.
